10th Post(Hurray for double digits!)

I am Reading Catching Fire by Suzane Collins and im going to tell u right now that this booko is amazing. PLEASE STOP READING IF U WANT TO READ THIS BOOK! I love using caps lock. So this is a huge twist to what i thought was going to happen. I thought Katniss and her friends were going to find if there was still a district thirteen. Boy was i wrong. For the 75th Hunger Games, previous victors will go to the arena. So that means katniss and Peeta, considering he voulenteered for Haymitch, the local drunky. I was shocked because this is about the worst thing a person is forced to do in life and victors usually have immunity from the reaping. So the Capitiol is angry that KAtniss almost took her life and thought that she made a fool of the Capitol and it's (stupid) games. But caome on, take away her winnings and maybe scar her with fear, but back into the games, thats shallow even for the Capitol! Cant put this book down, cant wait to poast more(wink wink). Hello. I kinda gave up reading Elephant Run. I guess WWI books arent my thing. So i finaally got my hands on Catching Fire, the sequal to the Hunger Games, and oh my gosh i cant put it down. I thought there was no way it could be as good as the first one put look who supreised me. Its amazing because the story line has so many thiings going on at once and its unbelievable how many things are Wrong with the Capitiol. They hate Katniss because of what she did in the games, so they sent this new head peacekeeper and he is not the guy u want to be around. HE set up gallows and a wipping post to warn others, so i guess he is trying to make things as miserable as possible. That's all for now. Bubbi

Hola. I am reading a new book titled "Elephant Run." It is about a boy who lives in 1941 and he is always on the lookout for German bombers to attack hisi village. One day his appertment gets bombed and he has to move back with his dad in Kansas. It's titled "Elephant Run becasue his dad owns this elephant named Hannibal. I chose this book to read becasue on the title it has a boy looking at a building on an elephant and there are planaes flying above. This to me looked like it could have been about war, or a guy who meets an elephant and that really impacts his life. I have a feeling its going to be about both, who knows. Thats about all for now. 7th Post

I finished The Compund! ill tell yah, i couldnt put it down. Eli was wandering around the compund and he found a connection to the internet. A few days later he went on agaain it sadi he had one I.M buddy on. yan twin 2 was the user name. He had found eddy. i was shaocked. i was shocked becaus ei honestly expected eddy to be dead and because in a sense i really couldnt belive what was going on. so he continued chatting with eddy and he got word that there really WASNT a nuclear strike on the u.s and that the whole world was safe. his grandma went on and sadi that there was a plane that just hit the camper that the family was staying on and that everyone was ok. Again, i was shocked. Eli rushed to his mom and told her. She was furious. Lexie(his older sister) who is a huge fan of her dad was saying that that wasnt true. Mr. Yanakakis walked in and Mrs. Yanakakis let him have it. He explained that he knew what it was like out there, but he built the compound the day that he realized that he was being a bad farther and was not spending time with his kids. I think this was a stupid idea. I think this because your rich, just take them on a vacation or take a week off. He also said that once they emerged everyone would want a compound just incase something bad would happen. So Eli puched him in the face. HIs dad had a poisoning from eating bad wheat and was ruched to the er of the compound. they nedded outside help in order to cure him. Elli had to figure out the code from only one clue, which was durducken. his dad got better aufuly quick and ripped up the code. Eli had a tough choice to make, let his litlle"Supplement" brother die, or give up the code and he made a smart move on that one. So he had to figure out the code and using a series of nuclear testings and birthdates, he figured it out. He escaped, but only for a while. Phil, his dad's assistant showed up on a helicopter and had a charge that would blow up the compound. HIs dad came put and had to help Eli save his family. He rushed back into the compound and grabbed his pregnant mom and his little brothers and sisters and ran. he ran and then boom. bam. ker pow. whatever word ud like to use, the compund blew up. Eddy came a day later and that led to a happy ending. Thats bout it! bubbi!

6th Post

Greetings and Salutations! I am on my way in the Compound around page 120 and it's real interesting. It;s interesting in a way that makes u want to keep reading, even though not to much action is going on. So Eli was snooping around the Compound and just checking out all the rooms. He went into his dead twin brother's room, which he had never been in, and found a laptop. He carried itaround the Compound and while stopping outside of his dad's office, he turned on the laptop. something happened that had never happened in a long time, the internet was up. At first i thought that Eli was just seeing things and that it wasnt really happening. But then Eli staeted to talk to his father. His mom said that she believed that his dad was keeping things from her, and that he wasnt trustworthy anymore. Eli's dad came clean to him and said that he had found a connection sent out by one of the survivors and did not tell anyone, cause it would give them false hope. I think this was a good and bad decision. I think this because on the upside, he has a connection and giving a family false hope that their own child may even be out there could start a panic. But on the other hand, his dad should really tell his family everything. If u cant trust the poeple that ur living with for the next 9 years,, then y even live? Thats about all so see yah. I finished Project 17 and Started this new boook called The Compound by S.A Bodeen. I started reading this because i heard it was good and it was recomended to me. It;s about what happens after a nuclear rain of bombs hits the U.S and kills everybody, except this rich family named the Yanakakis's. Eli Yanakakis(our main character) and his family run into this luxury bomb shelter called the compound, where they'll be living for the next 15 years. Eli had lost his twin brother Eddy in the bombing and has never been the same.. 6 years after, he still misses him more than anytghing. Thats about all that has happend so far. But, i cans till make predictions. I predict that Eli is going to want to escape the compound, even though its the only place that is safe and has life, so they think. I predict this beccause Eli has said that he needs a change of scenery and that he wonders if eddy is still alive. Thats means he'll being willing to risk anything to find him.
